Dr. Cheang obtained MD degree from the National University of Malaysia in 2008 and her Master of Anaesthesiology in 2016 from University of Malaya.
Her clinical experiences include serving in the capacities of Medical Officer and Clinical Specialist in Anaesthesia at various public hospitals in Peninsular Malaysia. Her clinical skills are General Anaesthesia and Regional Anaesthesia in Operation Theatres which include Orthopaedic, Plastic Surgeries, Maxillofacial Surgeries, Obstetrics, General Surgeries, Neurosurgeries, Paediatric Surgeries, Eye Surgeries, ENT Surgeries, Urosurgeries and Remote Anaesthesia.
Her research and study culminated in a co-authored article published in the Journal of Clinical Monitoring and Computing, 2018 and, two (2) presentations during the 8th ASEAPS 2019 Congress Malaysia and the 4th National Pain Free Virtual Conference & 7th MASP Biennial Scientific Meeting 2020, respectively. Dr. Cheang is currently a visiting anaesthetist for multiple hospitals.
